Vase by Grueby Pottery Company. The object is a rounded ceramic vase. The vase is yellow-brown with visible darker flecks and a glossy sheen. A darker line runs vertically down the center of the vase. A thin double-lined seam runs vertically down the center of the vase and two more thin double-lined seams run horizontally around the vase. The mouth of the vase is small and has a short neck. The base of the vase is flat. The background behind the vase is white with a shadow cast by the vase.
