The Pear-shaped Jar, crafted by artist Okimoto Kenkichi, is a ceramic vessel with a bulbous body and narrow neck. The jar features two small handles on either side. The surface exhibits a crackled brown glaze with a darker brown base color visible through the cracks. The jar has a wide mouth and a flat base. The background is dark gray to black.
