Microscope
The Microscope by J. Wilson of London. The microscope has a brass body with a black base. The base is round and flat. A short brass stem rises vertically and branches into two arms. One arm extends horizontally and holds a black concave reflective mirror. The other arm supports the eyepiece tube. Curving scrollwork designs adorn the base and stem. A coarse adjustment knob is on the right side. The eyepiece tube tapers to a narrower cylinder and has scrollwork on the bottom. A second cylinder is attached below with a screw. A brass cylindrical nosepiece holds two or more object lenses and is engraved with markings. The background is grey with a vignette effect.
