Black-Gloss Oil Lamp
Black-Gloss Oil Lamp by unknown artist. The object is an ancient clay oil lamp with a predominantly black body and a light brown rim and base. The lamp has a circular body with a small protrusion at the bottom left for a handle. The top of the lamp is rounded and has a circular indentation in the center with a small cylindrical protrusion. The body of the lamp is mostly black with some areas of the light brown clay showing through the chipped black glaze. The rim around the top is light brown with black spots where the glaze has chipped off. The background of the image is a gradient from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom. The lighting is even, with a slight shadow underneath the lamp.
