The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The card table has a rectangular top with rounded corners and a drop-leaf on one long side. The table top is made of wood with a reddish-brown color and a lighter wood inlay pattern. It sits on a base with four legs; two of the legs are ornately carved with a spiral design, while the other two are cast as a female figure with wings. The base of the table has a shelf and is supported by four feet with castors. The table has a drawer on the front with a brass handle. The table is decorated with gold accents.
