Side chair by artist unknown. A side chair with a high back and four curved legs. The back features a flat top with rounded corners bearing carved acorns and a central design consisting of two curved vertical side pieces connected by four horizontal curved pieces. The two center horizontal pieces form a narrow oval shape with a larger open oval underneath. Two carved acorn shapes connect the bottom of the oval to the seat frame. The seat frame is rectangular with a slightly rounded front edge and is upholstered in a patterned fabric with a damask design. The legs are curved and terminate in a ball and claw foot. The front legs feature carved acanthus leaves above the feet. The background is white.
