High chest of drawers by Grinling Gibbens, the piece of furniture has a tall, curved top with two small finials on either side. The main body of the chest is a dark wood, possibly ebony, with intricate gold inlays depicting various scenes and designs. The chest has a total of 10 drawers, 5 on the top section and 2 on the bottom section with a space in between for a kneehole. The drawers feature gold pulls and are adorned with gold inlays matching those on the main body. The bottom section has cabriole legs. The background of the image is gray.
