Pier glass

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Rectangular mirror with a twisted rope-like border. The frame is adorned with a decorative piece at the top resembling a candelabra with a bowl-shaped center and curved leaves on either side. Two floral arrangements hang down on either side of the frame. A carved floral design is at the bottom of the frame. The mirror appears to be hanging on a wall. The mirror and decorations are by Pier glass, and the artist is Gill.
