Shoe Buckle

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Two rectangular metal shoe buckles, symmetrical and identical, with rounded corners. The buckles are silver-colored, with a smooth outer edge and an inner design consisting of multiple thin, straight bars forming a grid-like pattern. The buckles have three horizontal bars on top, bottom and in the middle; and two vertical bars on the left and right sides that are offset. The buckles are placed side by side on a white surface, with a slight shadow visible underneath each one. The background is plain white. The buckle is by the artist titled "Shoe Buckle".
