Tumbler

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Clear glass tumbler with a wide mouth and tapered body. The glass features an etched design consisting of a floral motif in a planter box, flanked by scrollwork on either side. Above and below the main design are etched chain-like patterns. The base of the glass displays red text, but it is not legible. The background is a gradient from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom.
