The inscription reads: "When you are Remember'd in my And I am gone You When I think of you I'm at play Think of me as you find." The border has a floral pattern with leaves and stems. The bottom center reads "Elizabeth Easton Aged 9." The sampler is framed in a thin dark wood frame with a white background.
