Embroidered Sampler by Mary Duyber. Rectangular piece of fabric with embroidered text and designs. The fabric is light brown with a dark border around it. Top section features a row of six red shapes with triangular patterns above and below. Below that are rows of embroidered letters, some in alphabetical order, some not. Some letters appear multiple times. A paragraph of text is stitched below the letters. The text reads: "my sampler in the sear other I feare the eul iftar ord from the fourth 1792". Bottom section contains more letters, some with decorative patterns. The letters are stitched in a simple running stitch. The fabric has a plain weave.
