Black and white sketch of a body of water spanning the image horizontally. The water takes up most of the image. The left side of the image shows a line of trees along the water's edge. The right side shows a boat near a rocky shore with indistinct hills in the background. The sketch is done in pencil on two pages that are spread open, with a small gap in the middle. The artist's signature is on the bottom right corner of the right page. The year 1904 is included in the signature.
