The object is a silver-colored, shield-shaped medal with a pointed bottom. The top features a triangle with a circle at the top and two crossed beams resembling the letter 'X'. The triangle sits atop a semicircle with a sunburst design emanating from its center. The semicircle has a border of short dashes. The lower portion of the shield features a curved border with a leaf-like pattern and a star at the bottom. The main body of the shield contains cursive text that reads: "Lockport 10th Decr. 1826 No 33 Erection Chapter Bridgeport (Conn) June 8th 1826". The background of the image is gray. The medal is associated with Masonic symbols and is the work of artist C. Foote.
