The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Sideboard by Nathan Lombard. Dark brown wooden sideboard with four legs. Top has a flat surface with slightly curved front edge. Three drawers across the top, two on the outside with rounded brass handles and one central drawer shorter in height. Two cupboard doors below the drawers on either side; each features a carved design of what appear to be two birds flanking a column. The center has a concave section with vertical slats and two small brass knobs. Decorative carvings adorn the legs and around the edges of the doors and drawers. A decorative carved motif at the bottom of the center concave section.
