Metal hilt of a smallsword with blue enamel inlays and a curved guard; hilt composed of a knuckle guard curving from the pommel and widening into a flat, oval quillon; three oval and one rectangular enamel plaques depicting cameo-style portraits on the front of the hilt; a similar plaque on the back; quillon-dagger with a finial on top; blue enamel plaques bordered in white and gold; quillon and hilt decorated with white dots; flat quillon decorated with scrollwork; oval pommel; black, flat blade.
