Halberd

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Halberd by unknown artist shows a large weapon with a long, thin metal spike on top and a wide, flat, axe-like head below it. The axe-like head has two curved extensions on either side near the bottom. The metal appears weathered and has some discoloration. The handle of the weapon is partially visible at the bottom, appearing to be made of dark wood. The background is a plain light gray color.
