Round metal shield with a rope-like edge. The shield consists of a flat circular body divided into eight triangular sections radiating from the center. The center is covered with a rosette. Each section has a gold and gray design. The designs are symmetrical. The shield has a rope-like edge with small gold circles. The background of the image is white. The shield is attributed to Sir John Smythe.
