Linstock

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Linstock by an unknown artist shows a close-up view of an object with a long handle. The top part is silver and pointed, resembling a dagger or spearhead, with a gold filigree pattern on the lower half. Extending from the base are two curved metal pieces. Their ends are shaped like animal heads. A silver section connects these curved pieces to the pointed top. The handle appears to have a brown grip. The background is a plain gray color.
