Pair of Sword-Grip Ornaments (Menuki)

Pair of sword-grip ornaments, menuki, made of gold. Two identical, symmetrical, ornamental pieces. Each piece has a semicircular form with a rounded triangular shape on top, resembling a bundle of fabric or a shell. The semicircular base of each piece features a design with a central flower surrounded by four smaller flowers, two on each side. Leaves and stems are depicted on either side of the flowers. The background of the image is gray.
