Helmet by 16th century Turkish, steel, gold inlaid, chainmail neck guard. The helmet is a tall, rounded shape with a small finial on top. The dome of the helmet is decorated with gold inlays of intricate designs and Arabic calligraphy. A gold band encircles the helmet, below the inlaid designs. The helmet has a long, chainmail neck guard that hangs down to the bottom of the image. The background is a plain gray color.
