The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Helmet called Khula Khud. This is a bronze-colored helmet with a dome shape. The top of the helmet comes to a point and has a long, thin spike. There is a bird-like design on the right side of the helmet. The dome has gold-colored etched lines that form a pattern. There is a band of Arabic calligraphy and geometric designs around the middle of the helmet. The bottom half of the helmet is covered in bronze-colored chainmail that hangs down in a tattered fringe. The background of the image is gray.
