Helmet

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

A silver helmet with a rounded top and a short fin on the right side, a small knob on top. Two strips of metal chainmail run down the center on either side of a metal plate with a circular hole at the top and a long, thin rectangle below it. A curved metal piece extends from the bottom of the plate. The helmet has a red fabric lining visible at the bottom edge. The helmet is mounted on a white stand. The title is "Helmet" by the artist.
