The image shows the blade and partial handle of a spontoon. The blade is pointed and elongated with a wide, flat base. It is silver-colored metal with engravings on both sides. The engravings include an ornate design with curving lines on either side of a shield shape. Above the shield shape is an arch with illegible text. Below the shield shape are the letters and symbol "T No 3". The base of the blade has two small notches on either side. The handle has a brown wooden grip with copper rivets, wrapped with a decorative brown and gold cord and tassel. The cross guard is T-shaped and made of metal. The background is a solid gray color.
