Partisan

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Silver-colored metal dagger, Partisan, by unknown artist. The blade is long, narrow, and pointed with a slight convex curve, featuring a gold circular medallion. The base of the blade flares out to form two crescent-shaped quillons that are gold-colored and decorated. The handle appears to be made of dark wood with a silver-colored metal ferrule and pommel. The background is a plain gray color.
