Ceremonial Partisan of the Swiss Guard of the Prince Electors of Saxony
The ceremonial partisan has a long, narrow blade with a wavy edge. The blade is silver-colored, with darker spots and marks on its surface. A decorative metal piece is attached to the base of the blade. This piece features two crowed eagle heads on either side, with their beaks pointing outwards. Between the eagles' heads is a geometric pattern. The metal piece has a lattice-like design with cutouts. Below the decorative piece is a short metal rod with a cylindrical shape and a brown, fuzzy material, possibly fur, wrapped around the bottom. The background is a solid light gray color. The artist of the piece is unknown.
