Partisan of the Swiss Guard of Friedrich August of Saxony (reigned 1694–1733)
The image shows a ceremonial sword or partisan with a long, slender blade and a decorative hilt, made of silver or a silver-colored metal. The hilt features two dragons or eagles on either side of a circular emblem. The handle of the sword is wrapped in a light-colored material, possibly fabric or leather, and has a long tassel made of thin strips of gold and blue material. There are two other objects partially visible on either side of the sword, appearing to be a hat or helmet and a winged object. The background is a plain white wall. The style and design are consistent with 18th-century European ceremonial or military swords, specifically Partisan of the Swiss Guard of Friedrich August of Saxony.
