The Inner Plate of a Forearm Defense (Vambrace) by Master of the Scharf Family, depicting a metallic piece with visible signs of wear and aging; it's shaped like a truncated cone or a biconvex lens when viewed from the side; made of metal the surface exhibits a predominantly silver-gray color with numerous darker spots indicative of tarnish or rust; surface texture appears rough; object features a seam down the center with fasteners on either side. A small hole on the left side towards the top. The top portion overlaps the bottom. Edge of the top portion features undulating crenellations. A small rectangular opening on one end. Two decorative loops on the side with a central embellishment on both halves. A metal chain extends from the bottom portion.
