Backplate of an Armor for Vincenzo Luigi di Capua (d. 1627)

Silver-colored metal plate with engraved designs, featuring a curved top and bottom edges. The plate is shaped like a wide, curved shield or breastplate. The engraved designs include: - Geometric patterns - Floral motifs - Oval shapes The plate has two leather straps with metal rivets at the bottom edge. Two metal loops are on either side of the top edge. The background is light gray.
