The horse has a red saddle blanket and a gold and blue harness. The rider on the horse has a gray tunic with yellow trim and a yellow sash. He holds a sword and a shield. There are several people on foot and on horseback in the scene, some wearing gray tunics with yellow trim and others wearing armor. There are two chariots with red and white canopies. One chariot has a white horse and the other has a brown horse. There are several white clouds in the sky, and some of them have people flying on them. The background of the painting is a blue sky with white clouds. The frame is light brown with a decorative border.
