The Visit of Manjushri to Vimalakirti (base of stele)
The base of a dark-colored stone stele with a rectangular shape and two-tiered flat top and bottom, with an uneven surface and weathering. The bottom tier features intricate carvings depicting several figures along the bottom and on either side. A humanoid figure with long earlobes and a round belly sits on the right side. A similar figure sits on the left side. A seated figure surrounded by four other figures appears in the center. Seven standing figures are carved on either side of the central figure. Delicate scrollwork adorns the top. The top tier contains etched text.
