Ornamental Plaque by unknown artist. The object is an ornate white jade plaque carved into a fish shape. The plaque is lying on its side with the head to the right. The body is smooth with minimal carvings. The tail end is carved with scrolling floral patterns. The plaque has a glossy finish and appears to be resting on small feet or supports. There are four small feet visible; two under the body and two under the tail. The number 553 is printed vertically on the side of the plaque. The background is a plain gray surface. A small white rectangle is partially visible at the bottom.
