Red figure of Zhong Kui, a demon queller, depicted in a dynamic pose. The figure has a large head with a long beard and hair, and a red hat on top. He wears a flowing robe with wide sleeves and a sash around his waist. His right leg is bent and tucked up behind him, while his left leg is extended. He appears to be mid-step. His left arm is bent and held close to his body. The figure is set against a beige background with a thin green and gold border. A wider gold border on either side features an intricate floral pattern. Small black Japanese characters are printed in the bottom-right corner.
