Meiping vase

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Meiping vase by the artist is a dark red, shiny vase with a wide body that tapers towards the bottom and a narrow neck. The vase has a rounded body with a slight curve inwards just below the middle, then curves outwards towards the bottom. The base of the vase is beige and appears to be unglazed. The background is white with a slight shadow cast by the vase.
