Octagonal bowl by Shibuemon. White ceramic bowl with eight sides. Black designs on the inside and outside. Inside has a black floral design on the bottom and eight black designs on the sides. The design on the bottom appears to be a tree with leaves and berries. The eight designs on the sides are split into groups of two on each side. Four of the designs are leafy and curved, similar to acanthus leaves. The other four designs are a fleur-de-lis. There are small designs on the outside directly below each side. The background is gray.
