The Covered Jar (Hu) is a brown ceramic vessel with a narrow neck and a wide body. The jar has a small, circular mouth with a short neck that flares out slightly at the top. The body of the jar is bulbous and rounded, with a flat base. The jar features a design with black and white painted lines and motifs. There are two horizontal bands around the upper part of the body, one near the top and one near the middle. The upper part of the body has white and black swirling patterns and a teardrop-shaped motif. The neck of the jar has a design of abstract lines and shapes. The lid is small and rounded with a concentric circle design on top. The background of the image is a gradient from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom.
