Portrait of a man, Yokogawa Kanhei Munenori, depicted in profile facing right. The man has a headband around his forehead, and his black hair is visible below it. He wears a black and white robe with a red and black patterned arm guard visible on one arm. The robe has a white sash and a green handled sword with a black sheath at his side. The background features green holly leaves on white clouds against a dark blue-grey sky. There are several Japanese characters on red, yellow, and green banners and signs in the image. A large red oval with a green border and Japanese writing is in the upper right corner. The artwork is by Utagawa Kuniyoshi.
