Japanese woodblock print, Utagawa Kunisada. Three men on a floor. One man wears a green jacket, red headband with a black and red plume; blue shorts and seated on the floor with one leg bent; one arm raised high and the other on his forehead. A second man, on the left, has a dark top with red and blue trim; a yellow sash; a long dark skirt with red sash; on one knee with the other leg extended; one hand to his forehead and the other outstretched to the right. A third man, on the right, wears a patterned robe in red, blue and white; one hand on the floor beside him; the other at his open mouth; hair up in a traditional top knot; looks to the left. Calligraphy on either side; red seals or stamps on the right and left; background beige with a yellow seal square on left.
