The reverse side depicts a heron in light brown and gold hues, standing on one leg with the other tucked under its body, against a black background. A pink and white braided cord handle is attached to the top. The container appears to be made of lacquerware. The background behind the container is beige. The artist's work presents a striking contrast between the serene, moonlit scene and the elegant, yet simple depiction of the heron.
