Cylindrical object made of brown material, possibly wood or lacquer, with rounded top and bottom. Two white ropes protrude from top. Left side shows dark brown herons in flight against brown background with horizontal lines. Right side depicts a gold and blue court carriage with large wheel and floral designs; carriage roof, body, and wheel are intricately detailed. Both sides have gold accents and detailed designs. Object appears to be a traditional Japanese inrō.
