Case (Inrō) with Design of Perched Hawk in Pine Tree (obverse); Small Bird in Flight (reverse)

Black lacquer inro with rounded rectangular shape and flat edges. On the obverse, a perched hawk on a pine tree with body facing left and head turned to the left. The hawk has a brown head and neck and spotted brown and gold body. The pine tree has minimal leaves and thin trunk and branches done in gold on a black checkerboard patterned background. The obverse has a design with gold flowers on a black background and gold outlining. The background of the obverse is black with gold floral designs. The inro has pink and white cord. The reverse shows a small bird in flight on a similar black lacquer background with gold floral designs. The bird on the reverse has a white body.
