A light brown carved wooden sculpture titled "Netsuke of Man Forcing Monkey into a Basket" by an unknown artist. The sculpture depicts a man wearing a head covering and a short-sleeved top with a grid pattern and a flower-like motif; the top has long sleeves with dots; he also wears loose-fitting pants with star-like motifs and shoes. The man is bending over with his hands on a basket, forcing a monkey into it. The monkey is sitting on the left side of the basket with its hands on the edge and its head and body sticking out; it has an open mouth. The basket has a flat bottom and slanted sides; it sits on a base with a rope carved around it. The background is light gray with a shadow cast by the sculpture.
