The rat behind and to the right is mostly obscured, but appears to be lying on its side. The rat behind and to the left is sitting up and looking forward. The sculpture appears to be made of carved ivory or bone. The background is a plain gray color. The sculpture is titled "Netsuke of Three Rats" and is by the artist Nagahisa.
