Untitled

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The image shows five white ceramic bowls with a black design. Two bowls are on their sides on the left and right sides, showing their wide shallow interiors. The bowls have a small circular indentation in the center of the interior bottom. The other three bowls are upright. The left and right bowls are identical, and both have rounded bottoms and very short rims. The bowl in the center is wider and deeper. All bowls have a design of a series of roughly drawn ovals. The background is dark gray, and the items are centered. Untitled, Peter Voulkos.
