Black skirt, "Skirt" by artist unknown. The skirt is knee-length, with a white waistband. The skirt has a shiny appearance and is made of a smooth fabric, possibly silk. It is pleated and falls in folds to the bottom edge. The skirt is primarily black with vertical shiny black strips. There are two rectangular panels at the bottom, one central and one on either side. The central panel contains embroidered white flowers and a geometric border. The side panels contain embroidered white flowers and a geometric border along the bottom edge. The background of the image is light gray. A small label on the bottom right reads "THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART". Numbers are printed in the bottom left corner.
