The name "Bassi" is at the top, and more text is at the bottom. The back side has a laurel wreath around the edge. Inside the wreath are the words "Degoro della patria splendore del secolo XVIII". The medal is titled "Guiseppe Rossi Pittore" and attributed to artist "Luigi Cossa".
