Bronze-colored medal with two sides. The obverse side shows three people in a profile view. The person on the left is a man with short hair. The man has his right hand on the chest of the woman on the right. The woman on the right has a bow on her head. The person in the middle is largely obscured. The reverse side depicts a soldier standing with one leg bent. The soldier wears a hat and a strap over his shoulder. The soldier holds a long gun. A flagpole is to the right of the soldier. The flag is attached to the pole with a rope. The soldier stands on a grassy mound. There is a date on the bottom of the reverse side. The text on the reverse side reads 'LE TOUR DE ALSACE', 'RETROUR D ALSACE ET LORRAINE A LA FRANCE', and '11 NOV 1918'.
