The painting depicts a man on horseback in a desert landscape. The man wears a green turban, a brown robe with a green and gold shawl underneath, and yellow pants. He sits on a brown horse with a red saddle blanket and a gold and red patterned saddle cloth. The horse faces left. The background shows a desert landscape with several trees, rocks, and animals. There are several white cows and numerous deer, some of which are brown and white and others light brown. In the distance, on the top left and right, are buildings. On the top right, a group of people on horseback. The painting has a thin gold border with a thicker border around that. The artwork appears to be on aged paper.
