A man and a boy are shown within the bottom of the letter; the boy sits on the left and holds an apple; the man sits on the right and holds a book. The letter sits on an orange background with gold filigree; it is surrounded by a border with blue and gold filigree. The image has a beige background with red and blue staining. The work is titled "Leaves Excised from a Psalter (seven)" by an unknown artist.
