Single Leaf from a "Biblia Pauperum": Christ Carrying the Cross (verso)
The image depicts a scene from the Bible. Christ is carrying a large yellow cross, wearing a white robe and a halo. He is surrounded by people on both sides; on the left side there is a child in green with wings, a man in white with a blue sword and another man in blue; on the right side, there are two men in green. The people are touching or holding the cross. Above them, two old men in white and yellow are in a bubble-like structure holding a candlestick. The drawing is a sketch with minimal coloring in shades of green, blue and yellow on aged paper. The bottom of the image has some writing. The scene depicts Christ carrying the cross.
